On Sat (3-11) at 3 pm in Barnes N Noble; 6685 E State St; Rockford, IL 61108 is: American Girl Club, Meet Kaya...

Says they will be crafting a necklace and embrace her respect of nature. Join us as we travel to 1764.

It's back in the children section, I plan on going bring Kimmy she has Kaya dressed and ready to go tomorrow. Hope someone from here can make it to!

I wish I saw this earlier! We live about 10 minutes away from there. DD is having a friend over to play during that time, but maybe they'd both want to go...I'll have to discuss it with her parents first.

That is DD in my avatar, so if you see her there with Jess please introduce yourself! It would be cool to meet someone from the board.

DD only has Jess but she wants Kaya next, so I know she'd love to go.

My daughter, her friend and I go to these meetings monthly at our local B&N. This is how my daughter was chosen to receive a free Felicity at her movie debut. These clubs are wonderful and best of all FREE!

The girls sure seem to enjoy theirselves it was a nice program! It was nice to meet a fellow HB member Cheri and her wonderful daughter and daughter's friend. Super sweet girls! Oh and you too Cheri!

The next one should be the 2nd week in April on Sat. but B'n'N' said to call just to make sure since the newsletter isn't out yet.

It was so nice to meet you and Kimmy too! The girls had a great time--it was very nicely done. I know they said next month's topic was babysitting, which DD is a little young for but I think we might go anyway since she has two little brothers.
